We believe that authentic relationships, in which joys and sorrows are freely shared, are essential to the well-being of the community, we try to offer numerous opportunities for fellowship. Newcomers are always welcome, and there is no need to be a member of the church in order to participate in our social ministries. Here are some of the opportunities that we currently offer:
Lunch Bunch
Once a month this group gathers to share lunch at a local restaurant.
Divine Sisterhood
One Thursday evening per month, this group gathers at the home of a member for wine and dessert. Women of all ages are welcome to come and share in this informal time of friendship, mutual support, and laughter.
Youth Group
This group is for grades six through the end of high school. They meet about every other week, and enjoy playing games and having fun together.
Men's Breakfast
On the second and fourth Thursdays of the month, the men get up early to share breakfast at Bistro 24 (the old Exton Diner).
Community Meals
Throughout the year the congregation shares a common meal. The breaking of bread has been an important Christian practice for 2,000 years: the earliest Christians "spent much time together . . . they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts" (Acts 2:46).
